OPTIMA EXECUTIVE BOARD 2012-2013 APPLICATION
*Must be a UW Madison student and in Madison for the entire academic year*
Please type and email to optima.president@gmail.com before noon on 4/11. Also remember that your name will be taken off the application when we review them in the sake of fairness. All the descriptions of each position are on the website: www.optimadance.webs.com under the Handbook tab for Exec Board. VP Special Events will no longer be a position, so there are 10 available positions for next year. The descriptions may change a bit by next year based on the end of the year survey.
Remember Exec members have a much greater time commitment than general members. As an Exec member you must commit hour long commitments at the service events to help check people in, must teach a few yoga/conditioning or technique classes, and must come to a weekly Exec meeting (usually Sunday nights but can be adjusted). Also we strongly recommend that Exec members choreograph large pieces for both shows and attend as many socials (and Optima events) as possible. It is a much bigger time commitment than being a general member, but it is also a great way to get more involved with Optima Dance!
